Are students assigned an academic advisor?
Yes! Initially upon registration an academic advisor will be assigned to each new student. The primary purpose of academic advising is to help students develop educational and life goals. An academic advisor will help students explore major fields of interest, construct long and short-term educational goals, navigate university policies and procedures, and plan semester courses at registration.
