Are students able to participate in traditional high school activities such as athletics, band, drama, and newspaper / yearbook?
No. The College Academy does not offer these types of activities. Students may participate in BCC’s extensive extracurricular activities / programs. This college experience will provide the opportunity for students to integrate into campus life. Activities may include, but are not limited to: intramural and other campus recreational programs; academic and professional organizations, such as Mathematics Team, Student Government, Potters Guild, BCC Broadcasters, Engineering Association, and Brain Bowl; special interest clubs and activities, including, but not limited to, Drama, College Singers, Concert Choir, Jazz Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and The Observer, BCC’s award winning newspaper.
