Yes and No. Nutrient formulas are meant to grow a plant successfully without additives. That being said, stimulants and additives used in addition to base NPK nutrients are designed to help the plant in other areas – be it bloom stimulation, root development, flavor, or the addition of calcium or other extras. The more you put into your plant, the more you will get out of it!
