Are sterilization procedures covered?
Yes. CIGNA will cover in full the operating room fees and ancillary charges for sterilization procedures at a covered hospital. With CIGNA, if you see a provider that is IN-NETWORK, the professional fees will be covered at 100%. If the provider is OUT-OF-NETWORK from the CIGNA network, the professional fees will be covered at 70% of the Reasonable and Customary charges after the $350.00 Deducible Amount has been met.
