Are State ID Badges required to be returned to FMDC when no longer needed?
If a badge holder leaves a department’s employ and/or transfers to another state department, the current badge should be returned to the appropriate processing location for inactivation. These badges will then be destroyed by FMDC. All contractor badges that are no longer needed or have expired must subsequently be returned to FMDC for inactivation and shredding.
