Are standardized test scores the only basis on which a child is judged?
No. Your child’s teacher will be assessing his or her overall academic performance for the school year. That includes homework performance, class participation, and understanding of materials. In fact, some kids who perform very well under ordinary circumstances may not do as well on a standardized test. A test score is simply one of the many pieces of information available about a student.
