Are spurs good at attracting people who like shiny things?
Spurs aren’t the best equestrian “bling” for attracting people who like shiny things. Try belt buckles: big, shiny, silver, trophy silver belt buckles. It’s my observation that those kind of belt buckles are highly attractive to people who like shiny things. Especially if belt buckle is attached to a belt that’s holding up the pants on a young, good-looking cowboy or cowgirl.
It looks as though there are a few people who need to get a life and not assume that someone as no clue about various things and then make fun of someone for it. Constructive critisism is ok and usually helpful but, not very nice when you read it full of sarcasm. Anyways, to answer the question… I would agree that spurs aren’t the best way to attract people who like shiny things… If you would like horsey stuff, try the belt buckles, etc. I think belt buckles are more noticable. I wear spurs all the time when I ride a broke horse as I never know when I need them and don’t have to use them when they are on but, have them if I need a sharp turn or whatever and I find that it’s not really noticed at all. My spurs are no longer very shiney from being on my boots which end up getting dirt, etc on them… So the shine does not last long… I will admit that it is a random question though…
