Yes. The FDI via Port Connection Kit requires specific option settings via the MFPs Service Mode. Access to Service Mode and the specific setting information is limited to Authorized Canon Dealers. Return to Top of Page Do the special settings associated with the FDI disable all non-copy functions as well? No. Only the copy settings are restricted. Functions such as Send, Mailbox, and Scan (if equipped) will still be available to a user. An Authorized Canon Technician can remove these functions from view via Service Mode.
