Are specialty dental services covered?
Your Avesis Advantage Dental insured benefits cover only services from General Dentists. While some of the discounted services could be used at a Participating Specialist office, the services are generally not covered under your Avesis plan. Your Participating General Dentist will provide most, if not all, of the care you need. In the event specialist care is required, your Participating General Dentist may make a recommendation.
