Are specialist breastfeeding councillors available at the unit?

We do not have a specific ‘counsellor’, but we do have a breastfeeding support midwife. Our current initiation rate is 75% in the postnatal ward. Unfortunately it is not always guaranteed that she will be on shift when women come in. This is one of our major goals for the future. However, all of midwives have experience in helping women breastfeed.
