Are special education services available for children after graduation? What about colleges?
Special education services terminate after graduation or at the end of the semester when a student reaches 21 or which ever comes first. After graduation, modifications can be made at the college level under 504 provisions. There is variability among colleges about the programs offered for learning disabled students.
