Are Soldiers Disposable?
Sad story, vets are never given the proper respect by the country they serve. It is even worse in the United States for vets than what was described in your soldiers letter. The really sad part is that the U.K. and the U.S. are supposed to be world leaders, and they don’t bother to tend to the basic needs of their own people. It appears wealthy elitist power mongers exploit the general public all over the world, and your problem is an unfortunately common one. I have no answer for the unholy greed and immoral corruption that dominates world politics. Decent people do what they can, with what God gives them, it’s the best one can hope for. All people, not just soldiers are disposable to the elitist corporate scum who currently dominate world politics.
