Yes, every product that Snapware currently sells is completely free of bisphenol-A (BPA). Snapware is committed to providing customers with safe, high quality and innovative storage containers, and removing BPA from all products is an important part of doing just that. Recently there has been much debate over the safety of BPA, which is a component of polycarbonate used in many plastics. BPA can potentially leach from containers when heated (via microwave or other methods), ultimately creating a safety risk when in contact with food. Due to these potential hazards, Snapware’s extensive product lines are manufactured entirely without the use of BPA.
