Are small planes inspected for safety?
Each airplane the VAC schedules possesses a standard airworthiness certificate that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issues. Each airplane is maintained in accordance with Federal Air Regulations and is inspected no less than once each year. A mechanic who is licensed by the FAA performs all inspections and maintenance. The VAC uses only airplanes subject to these inspection and maintenance standards.
