Are SLIVER panels (called modules within the photovoltaic industry)available now?
No, only very limited volumes of SLIVER panels are currently being made for select installations. In order for them to be more broadly available we would need to access expanded manufacturing capacity. We are currently evaluating such options and it is impossible to say when as it is a complex process with many parameters to be considered. When such a commitment is made it still takes quite a bit of time for equipment to be sourced and the technology to be transferred so it is likely to be at least a year or two from such a decision to when product is broadly available (although we are seeking avenues to shorten this!). We will announce any decision on our website. 10W SLIVER modules are now sold out and we do not plan to produce more of that wattage. Manufacturing and selling larger modules for grid-connect applications are what we are currently focussing on.
