Most insurance companies cover the cost to tear out and replace concrete, floor covering, walls, cabinets, and whatever is necessary to make the actual repair on the leaking pipe. The repair of the pipe is not usually covered by insurance. It is nice to find that your property is partially or completely covered by your home owners insurance for slab leaks.
