Normally your parachute won’t fail if you get it from a company. Because they take care of the parachutes to make sure they don’t get sued. Even if one of your parachutes does fail you also have a backup parachute. The pretty much only reason you could die is if you messed up by not pulling the chute right. But if you skydive tandem with an experience skydiver you have nothing to be afraid of.
