there are hundreds of species of skink and loads of different species are available in the pet trade, what are you after, a display pet, a small arboreal pet a small terrestrial pet something you can handle a large skink a small skink we need more info just to show you how much they vary alot of people keep five lined skinks which only grow to about 6 inches are arboreal and are skittish and not very handlible, also alot of people keep various species of blue tongue skink which are terrestrial can get up to 24 inches long and can become very tame and friendly and are easy to handle
