Are sixth grade science camps eligible for the equipment grants?
A22: No. The USDA determined that, based on the nature of camps, they do not meet the intent of the ARRA and are ineligible to apply. Q23: The equipment grant application asks SFAs to provide enrollment and eligibility data as of October 31, 2008; however, my agency was approved for NSLP as of February 1, 2009. How do I report this data when I don’t have it for October 31, 2008? A23: New SFAs would use the data on file as of the end of their first month of operation. An SFA approved as of February 1, 2009, would provide enrollment and eligibility data as of February 28, 2009.
