Are $ signs used on financial statements?
A. Yes. Look at the examples in the textbook where financial statements are shown. There is a general discussion on this topic on page 98 of the text. You will not lose marks on a test in Introductory Accounting for not placing $ signs in the proper places on financial statements. You should develop the knowledge of when and when not to use the $ sign by the end of this course.
