Are signal boosters for cable lines worth it?

0

They work if you are trying to run 3 or 4 televisions in your home off one cable connection. If you have cable installed in each room, and your cable provider has activated those other outlets, then an amplifier (signal booster) will do nothing to help you. In the days when we had rooftop antennas, and then ran our own cable to three or four rooms, the amplifier did boost the signal enough to provide adequate service to the several TV sets.
