Are siamese cats suitable for adoption when their old ?
Of course I don’t know these particular cats and it may take some time for them to adjust especially if very attached to your friend. but I have adopted several Siamese and Siamese mixes ranging from 11 months to 11 years, and they have all bonded and been very affectionate. The 11 year old one we adopted (who lived until age 18) was super loving and became very attached to his new family. He adored sleeping snuggled with a human, whether a grown up or a child. He liked to sleep stretching his arms and chest partway across your chest and his purring could send one right off to sleep in a minute! The latest one is the 11 month old. At first he was scared and didn’t want to come out of his carrier but within the first day he was rubbing his head on mine and purring. He is just 13 months old now, and he is a little love and is also hilarious! He is a typical young Siamese, still kittenish, very high energy, can climb ANYWHERE and can leap to incredible heights, and will play fetch endless
