Are Sea Monkeys really pets?
In the purist sense of the word, no. It is impossible to interact with them on even the most fundamental level. Heck, you can barely even see them. At least fish dart away when you peck their tank. But they are living creatures that you can grow and feed and care for, which is a pretty darn good definition of a pet. Just dont expect them to purr or fetch. Are they dangerous? Not in the most obvious way. Due to their diminutive size, they cannot threaten a human with physical force. Even if one were to encounter a giant hoard of sea monkeys in, say, a swimming pool, it is unlikely that they could coordinate an attack of sufficient force to do any real damage. If the hoard were thick enough, one could envision a human having difficulty swimming along with them or becoming choked on their bodies if swallowed, but that is a pretty far-fetched scenario.
