Think Westminster City Corporation is charging for motorbike parking, which was formerly free, so maybe there’s a charge for scooters too. You still do not pay the congestion charge – yet! So there’s some advantage in going in to London on your scooter. Yes they are charged, £1.50 a day, less per week. And you can only pay with a credit/debit card; however, once you have oppaid for the day, you can move around different spots if need be, you don’t pay every time.
