A School principals, including assistant principals-in-charge, may not receive pay for performing lunch duty under any circumstances. Elementary and K8 assistant principals may perform lunch duty for pay as long as the opportunity has first been offered to teachers and a need for additional supervision exists. The rate of pay for assistant principals is the ASC administrators hourly rate ($20.33 per the contract covering the period 7/1/05 6/30/07). Note: Teachers and assistant principals may be paid for lunch duty only when they forego their scheduled lunch break.
