Are scholarships available?
YES! Limited scholarships are available until February 1, 2007, from Youth2007. However, applicants must first solicit personal financial aid from their local church, district, conference, and jurisdiction (preferably in that order) before applying for a scholarship. No scholarships will be granted for a dollar amount greater than the cost of event registration. No “comp” registrations will be issued.
Yes, a limited number of merit- and need-based travel scholarships are available through an application process. If interested, please write a short essay about what you have done to advance conservative ideas on campus (not interested in off-campus activities) OR about why you have financial need. The Continuing Education Department has a small scholarship program. Currently, $1,500 is available each year and may be awarded to multiple students. Scholarships are awarded in the fall/spring term. The typical scholarship amount awarded is $250. Applications are available at the Downtown Center.
