Are scholarships available?
Yes. Information on scholarships is listed on the website for financial aid. http://steinhardt.nyu.edu/financial_aid/ All applicants who are interested in being considered for school-based scholarships MUST complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by going to www.fafsa.ed.gov and submitting it electronically to NYU. Detailed instructions can be found on the Graduate Admissions web pages at www.steinhardt.nyu.edu/financial.aid The deadline for having submitted the form to NYU is February 1 for the summer/fall enrollment or November 1 for spring enrollment. Please note that the earliest time you can access the form is January 1.
ESAC provides a limited number of scholarships for students from emerging markets such as Eastern Europe, CIS, and others. They are granted on a competitive need basis. Students who apply before December 15 may request a scholarship in their essay. Notification of scholarships will be given within 10 working days. The College offers scholarships to freshmen and transfer students based on academic performance. Freshmen are eligible to be considered for a full tuition Presidential Scholarship, a half-tuition Franciscan Scholarship, or a partial tuition Franciscan Grant after the Office of Admission has reviewed all application materials. A separate scholarship application is not required. The priority deadline for applicants who wish to be considered for scholarships is February 1. Transfer students are eligible for partial tuition scholarships based on a review of the college transcript. The priority deadline is February 1.
