Are scholarships and U.S. federal aid available to students who attend SCAD Hong Kong?
Yes. Students at all SCAD locations may qualify to receive scholarships based on academic and/or artistic achievement. U.S. federal financial aid also is available to U.S. citizens or permanent residents studying in Hong Kong. Other types of state or federal aid may be available depending on citizenship.
Yes. Scholarships are available to both United States citizens and non-U.S. citizens and are awarded to entering students prior to first-quarter attendance. Visit scad.edu/scholarships to learn more. U.S. citizens and eligible non-U.S. citizens may receive federal and state aid and alternative loans while studying at SCAD Hong Kong. For Hong Kong citizens and other qualifying students residing in Hong Kong, the Student Financial Assistance Agency of Hong Kong offers certain types of financial aid. Students are eligible to apply for loans under the Non-means-tested Loan Scheme (NLS) and apply for the Student Travel Subsidy Scheme.
