Are scales better than coin counters?
We offer two types of scales, mechanical and electronic. Both are reliable and quick. The biggest advantage to using a scale is the speed. The accuracy is not as good as a coin counter or sorter as the scale cannot tell if a different denomination coin is mixed in with the coin your are weighing. All scales can only count pre-sorted coins of like denomination. Electronic scales also work very well for tokens or redemption tickets. Some scales also offer the option to print the totals or an amount.
