Saskatchewan Savings Bonds are redeemable annually at the option of the bondholder. There is no penalty for redeeming a bond prior to maturity. To obtain redemption in advance of the maturity date, all bondholders named on the front of the bond must complete the “Demand for Redemption” on the back of the bond and present the bond to any credit union, bank, trust company or investment dealer in Saskatchewan on or prior to June 25 for redemption on July 15. Saskatchewan Savings Bonds are also redeemable on the death of a bondholder.
