Are Sadlerstone tiles suitable for cladding?

Sadlerstone tiles have been successfully used on many cladding projects. Standard thickness tiles, 3/8″ to 1″ (10mm to 25mm), can be direct fixed to lower walls. For higher walls many considerations come into play: eg the nature of the substrate, likely wind-loads, movement and settling etc. Accordingly, refer to your local standards and seek advice from a structural engineer for suitable fixing systems. There are many proprietary fixing systems on the market that are suitable for Sadlerstone tiles. Refer your engineer to Sadlerstone technical literature for information on sizes, strength, weight etc.
