Are Russian and American roundels alike?

I have noticed a certain style of Russian roundels are similar to American ones, since I am not using the majority of the roundels in the Blue Rider sheet, I am wondering if I could get away with using them to replace the ones in an American SPAD XIII, they seem to be the same size. So I am asking if there are any noticeable differences in color or size of the white circle at this scale.
