Are RuMe products compliant with the Consumer Protection Safety Improvement Act of 2008?
In 2009, RuMe Bags asked Intertek, an industry leader in product testing, to independently test our bags. Intertek found that RuMe Bags are lead-free, stating that our bags “comply with the requirements set forth in the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008.” Complete Intertek results are below. We chose to test the RuMe Baggie since it has a zipper, label and fabric. Intertek advised us that any measurement of lead under 10 parts per million is undetectable levels and thus lead free.
