Are rough collies considered to be working dogs or show dogs?
Like all Collies, Rough Collies are a versatile breed. In the Uk, they are classed in the Pastoral group along with all the other herding and general farm dogs. These days they are first & foremost a companion, but can be shown and can also work in obedience & agility. They are loyal and make a good watch dog.
