Are Rotary eClub members eligible to visit other Rotary Clubs?
A. Yes. A Rotary eClub is a chartered club of Rotary International. Its members have all the privileges and obligations of Rotarians in any club. Rotary eClubs are just like traditional Rotary clubs in many respects. However, rather than having a required set meeting time and place, the club may meet on the Internet, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and or during our weekly online club meetings. Members log on to the Web site and review topics under discussion, and are expected to join a forum. The club’s members will be expected to participate in at least 20 online meetings, asking questions, and sharing views and suggestions with other members. Attendance will be measured by a minimum average of 10 hours of hands-on community service per quarter in place of ‘seat time’ in a club, meaning the member determines the activity, time and place.
