Disc-based games aren’t ROMs per se. Playstation emulation is done with CD images, which can come in many different forms – ISO being the most popular one, but also in ccd/img, bin/cue, mdf/mds and so on. I use Daemon Tools to mount the images and only rarely to I rely on the built-in image loader in ePSXe to run games.
