Are Revisionists Christians?
Here is a commentary on a query from the Rev. Dick Kim, one of the stalwarts on the front line: Dick Kim asked: “Can anyone on this list offer any encouraging news, other than a vague hope, or vague grand plan of action? We’re not dealing with Christians, would anyone argue that? Revisionists are NOT Christians, would anyone argue that?” To which my answer is “Yes! Yes! They are not Christians.” They are not following the Lord Jesus Christ — despite all their protestations to the contrary. We need to get our own foundations secure as to what being a Christian means. I propose the following — which I believe is God’s plan for WINNING: 1. Be a truth-seeker — be one who understands that there is a truth, and that experience and reason will lead to it. That is God’s way of dealing with us: “Come, let us reason together…” Faith is not a blind leap, it is the best educated leap you can make. It is leaping into the light, not the dark.
