Are rescue dogs and cats healthy?
Here at ARF, we make sure all of the dogs and cats we adopt out are in good health. Our dogs and cats get updated on their vaccinations, get their rabies shot, are dewormed, fixed and microchiped before getting adopted out. We also test our dogs for heartworm an our cats for leukemia . We will always share any long term concerns and advise our adopters of any possible requirements their rescue might have. Each adoptive family will receive a copy of their rescues available health records.
