Are remanufactured toner cartridges really environmentally sound?

0

The cartridge remanufacturing industry conserves more than 18 million gallons of oil each year by remanufacturing used toner cartridges. For each cartridge manufactured, more than three quarts of oil are burned. That’s three quarts of oil a remanufacturer conserves each time a single cartridge is remanuufactured. At our current rate of production, we remanufacture more than 24 million cartridges each year — keeping 38,000 tons of plastic and scrap metal out of landfills.
