Are religions the source of most of todays problems in the world?
Religion is not the source of the problem. It’s people who use religion as an excuse to gain wealth, power and control. For example, the French kings moved the pope to France and used his name to destroy the Templars in order to gain control of the Templar wealth and power. The people who use religion for those means always use emotions, fear and greed to gain followers to do their bidding. It’s not unlike Hitlers use of the poor economy after WWI to incite fear and resentment. He built his rise to power on that fear and used it to control others.
