Are rechargeable batteries recyclable?
Yes they are, like primary batteries. It is important to dispose of them in specially provided recycling containers. Batteries contain a number of heavy metals that will be recycled. In that way, these metals will not end up in the soil and the air. Rechargeable batteries can be recharged up to 1000 times and could reduce the volume of waste batteries by 1000 times.
