Yes. Older versions of RealPlayer were ported to Solaris x86, but not more current versions. However, the Unixware RealPlayer 8 is now playable on Solaris x86. For details, see Jrgen Keil’s “Using Unixware RealPlayer 8 on Solaris x86” at http://www.tools.de/solaris/realplayer/ An old version of RealPlayer is at ftp://ftp.sun.drydog.com/pub/solaris/ Reportedly, the Helix Community at https://helixcommunity.org/ is porting RealPlayer 10 to Solaris x86 (2005). Johan Hagman’s Solaris Helpers Page at http://home1.swipnet.se/~w-10694/helpers.html describes other players, such as for MPEG. Some of these players are SPARC-only though. Apple QuickTime is available only for Mac and MS Windows.
