Are real estate market trends dating back to the 1970s available for the New York region?

Hi, I’m a university student researching market value trends across the five boroughs of New York City since the 1970s until the present time. I’ve found Trulia’s detailed listing of market overview and trends in all of these areas since the year 2000 to be to be very helpful. I was wondering if the same kind of information is available for Manhattan, Queens, Bronx, Staten Island and Brooklyn dating back to the 1970s (or even earlier), in a similar format from Trulia. I’m looking particularly for trends in market value for each square footage of building property across these five boroughs since the ’70s. Could you point me in the right direction to get this data? Thank you very much! …
