Are Rangers missing Ferguson?
Hell No… I used to think Ferguson was the best player Rangers had, then he moved south, got injured and came back. i was happy when he came back but he was never the same player who scored 19 goals in the 2002/2003 season (am sure it was this season). always be a legend in my eyes but we have better players. Mendes and Thomson formed a good partnership at the beginning of the season, if Thomson had not got injured i believe we would have won the league by now.
The fact remains that Ferguson has had ONE bad season out of the many he has had and if he stays will be back in that squad pulling the strings once again. It shows you how narrow minded people are. He is usually man of the match in every european game we played in and we will need him next season when we are there again. Football is a team game and for Barry to play well he demands everyone around him be at the same standard. If you look at all the chopping and changing done this season it answers its own question in my eyes.
