Are rabbits good house pets?
Sure they are…If you take the time to tame them! If you get a male, have it castrated, otherwise it’ll mark its territory everywhere and it STINKS. Females are fine. But, if you’re planning on getting 1 rabbit, it’s a bit cruel, they get very lonely, so unless you have time to handle it very very often, it’s recommended you get 2 rabbits.–>female (unless the males are neutered and have been together since birth), so they won’t fight, best if they’re from the same litter (for females too). The cool thing is, unlike guinea pigs, rabbits can be potty-trained. You can buy what they call “wet corners”, and put it in the corner of the cage your rabbits use most to relieve themselves. You can change the corner often, but the rest of the bedding less, because rabbits are very clean and tidy animals. Then if you let it out, your rabbit might try to look for its wet corner! I’ve had friends whose rabbits do this, but I don’t let mine roam free in the house because I never took the time to tam
