Are QSEs required to demonstrate coverage of Ancillary Service (AS) obligations with balanced AS schedule?
Balanced AS schedules do not apply in Nodal. QSEs with AS obligations can have ERCOT procure all of their obligation in the Day-Ahead Market or only a portion if they choose to self-arrange. Ancillary Service Responsibility for QSEs with Resources will be checked to ensure that the sum of COP AS capacity = QSE AS Resource Responsibility.
