Are public boat ramps near the bridge open during the closure?
The boat launch located at Shine Tidelands– at the bridge’s northwest end — will be used for staging construction equipment during the closure and will be closed to boaters and the public for the six-week closure. The boat launch at Salsbury Park launch remains open on the Kitsap County side of the Hood Canal.
