Are programs supposed to be offered during school hours only?
Not necessarily. Programs may be offered during the sdhool day or after school or during evenings and weekends. Some of these aspects will depend on whether the services performed by students are direct (i.e., working with others or with the environment) or indirect (i.e., conducting research to benefit others, developing public information campaigns, etc.). Programs should reflect the nature of your community’s needs while maintaining a balance between student service and learning.
