Are procurement cards better than credit cards?
Each city can determine whether it will use credit cards or procurement cards. A smaller city with only a few employees will likely want to use credit cards, while larger cities may find procurement cards more beneficial. Although city credit cards remain widely used, many retailers are beginning to deny city-wide credit cards for purchases because if a city card is lost, anyone might be able to use it unless the account is cancelled.
