Are private enhanced services going to be considered by the needs assessment?
All pharmaceutical services that could be commissioned by the NHS from someone on the pharmaceutical list should be considered by the PNA regardless of who provides them. We have to be aware that some people will prefer to purchase some services privately, however this does not necessarily mean that there is no need for the services and these will need to be taken into consideration. Therefore this will include pharmaceutical services being currently provided privately.
